Client-Focused Solutions for Catholics

Estate Planning

Catholic Estate Planning encompasses the whole of a person’s life and faith. We can help you to pass on your Catholic values and beliefs by customizing your estate plan to include ethical wills, words of wisdom, stories and lessons of your life, and Catholic Medical Directives. Catholics also can incorporate their faith through bequests to their church, other ministries, and charities that have touched their lives.

Elder Law

Caring for our elders naturally embodies our faith by encompassing many of the Corporal Works of Mercy: to feed the hungry; to give drink to the thirsty; to clothe the naked; to visit the sick; to shelter the homeless; to visit the imprisoned; to bury the dead. By looking after our aging loved ones in these ways through our legacy gifts, we are providing not only for them, but for ourselves, as well. Our office has the compassion and experience necessary to incorporate these values into your estate plan.

Asset Protection

No one can argue that our faith requires us to “render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s” (Matt 22:17-21). As Christians, we have been given the right and responsibility to own, protect, and share our possessions, while at the same time recognizing our fiscal duty as American citizens. Asset Protection always respects the law while preserving your property. The little Law Office has the expertise of working within the law to insure safe passage of your legacy, for your good and the good of others, today and in the years to come.

Probate

The final step in estate planning involves the area of “inheritance”. By following our faith in conjunction with the law as we distribute our belongings, we can help make our loved ones’ final legacy a lasting testament of dignity. As long-time practitioners of Probate Law, our Office will carefully and professionally assist you in devising your plan of disposition.

Business Planning

“Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, or to governors…For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men.” (1 Pet. 2:13-15) As Catholics in business, our faith should be a large part of the integrity of our businesses. We, at the Little Law Office, can add to your over-all legacy by helping you to set up entities that may allow your business to operate more effectively within the law.

Special Needs Planning

“It is a profound spiritual experience to contemplate our loved ones with the eyes of God and to see Christ in them. This demands a freedom and openness that enables us to appreciate their dignity.” (Pope Francis, Amoris Laetitia) Nothing is more important than caring for our children, and this is especially true when their needs will continue after we have passed away. Little Law Office can assist you in designing a plan for your child's future that will give you hope and peace of mind.

Specialized Planning: Gun Trusts/ Pet Trusts/ Advanced Charitable Planning:

Catholics, like all other people, have special interests that need to be accounted for within their estate plans. Little Law Office can help you take care of that special collection of Guns, care for your beloved pets, and generously give to Charitable Institutions through a final tithing of “charitable gifts”.
